Mother in good health,

Premium Food~ 45.99 for aprox. 28 lb bag of EVO

Heartgard~ 60.00 a year, per dog

Frontline~ 15.00 month, per dog

Heartgard 2 year testing~ 22.00

Yearly Shots~16.00

Extra Precaution shots~14.50

Grooming~ 35.00 and up if you cannot do it yourself

Rabies~12.50

Licensing~ 30.00 for first year

Avid chip~ 39.50

Becoming pregnant & Whelping a litter:

Stud fees if you do not own one~ 500.00

Time and care it takes for breeding time~ Priceless

Prenatal care~ Its what we do! :-)

Up at all hrs of night with delivery if need be~ Priceless

Assisting with delivery, making sure babies are alive, can breathe, are kept warm. Just like having babies ourselves! :-)

Sleeping on the couch for a week watching over mom and babies~ Priceless

3 days old:

Vet to house for tail docking, dewclaws and general check:

Mobile fee~ 48.00

Tail dock~ 15.00 ea

Dew claws~ 7.50 ea

Professional fee~ 16.00 ea

2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age worming

If done by vet:

Mobile service fee~ 48.00

Exam~ 36.00 or professional fee~ 16.00 ea

Worming~ 5.00 ea

6-8 weeks before they go to their forever homes:

Home visit fee~ 48.00

Professional fee~ 16.00 ea

First set of puppy shots~ 16.00 ea

Advertising fees, some yearly, some just when litters are being sold, web site fees etc~ Aprox.~ 639.63 per year.

Going home~ I do not usually charge to drive even 100 miles to meet someone that is buying a pup from me. And I always include goodies!!

I happen to have a wonderful vet that will work with me on costs and payment. But I just wanted to give you all a small idea of what goes into bringing these pups into the world and into your lives. Oh and be sure I left a lot out. Cannot list it all.
